124 Died Intestate: Letters of Admin PCC to Jn & Wm Leigh 4 Feb 1778. John LEE of Ottery St Mary, Gent, & William LEE of Salcombe Esq were his execs in Nov 1780.
10 See Deed of ‘Assignment by John & William LEIGH to John WRAYFORD of Estates of William CARSLAKE late of Branscombe upon certain Trusts. It recites that ‘William Carslake of Berry, Gentm, lately died intestate leaving sd John Leigh (of Ottery St Mary, Gentm) and sd William Leigh (of Salcombe, Gentm) and also Sarah the wife of John Pyke of Combe St Nicholas Somerset his only next of kin, they being the only children then living of Mary Leigh who was the only sister of sd William Carslake and died in his lifetime’
