229“I have been reading the PRTs for Salcombe Regis again, this is what I recorded for the burial of Robert & Mary this time:
1785 Nov 23 Mr Robt & Mary LEE, his wife in the same grave [recorded in 1786 section with arrow indicating it should be the year before, 23 has been written over 27, BT has 23 Nov 1785 plus date of affidavit 29 Nov 1785]
It is obvious I missed seeing the arrow up to 1785 the first time and I thought the 27 was on top of the 23!”

[from Scope and Content] She was born in Colyton and went to Ottery St Mary and then Buckerell to for a month, then she lived with Mr William Wheadon in Sidbury over 6 months, came to Salcombe for a month with Robert Lee on trial and agreed for a year at £3 but this was changed to the week so she did not gain a settlement, agreed for 14d a week served 1 1/4 years
