To Leah Newton of Newton Poppleford & Ann Helyer of Honiton All my Freehold Houses at Sidford in parish of Sidbury & all my copyhold dwellings at Trow in Salcombe & alll my other propoerty whatsoever On Trust for maintenance of my beloved wife during her life or widowhood; On her death or marriage, for the sole use and benefit of my 4 children, Leah Newton, Elizabeth Pine, Thomas Carslake, Ann Helier, & my granddaur Mary Irish - daur of my daur Joanna - share & share alike. If any of them dies, their share to go to their child or children, share & share alike.
To my son John Carslake £5 out of the property after death or marriage of my wife.
