Sir Henry studied law at Lincoln's Inn. He was sent to Ireland as Chief Justice of the Common Pleas on 25th June 1426 - only until 8th November 1427. He was sent by the Commons of Ireland to England with Sir James Alleyn, to lay before the King their complaints and to inform him of the state of the country. This was repeated in 1428.354
