Named as deceased in Will of his niece Sarah Duke.378 From Devon local studies ‘Etched on Devon’s memory’ website (re Otterton church): “The chancel floor exhibits three brass tablets ... one ... to Richard Duke esquire, who was buried 10th July, 1740, aged 52.”380
