“By 1861 the estate had been acquired by Richard King Meade-King (d. 1887), of Walford in West Monkton, and passed successively to his son Lt.-Col. W. O. Meade-King (d. 1913) and grandson (Sir) William O. E. Meade-King (d. 1940). Richard E. B. Meade King died c. 1972 and his executors sold the land. ”

Recites previous transactions from 1810, and includes a schedule, 11 Oct. 1860.Consideration: £3000.Also endorsed with transfer of mortgage from parties in 2 above to Miss Clara Catherine Warren of Oxford Square, Middlesex, spinster, and Robert Mortimer Montgomery of the same, Esq., Richard King Meade-King of Walford, near Taunton, Esq., and George Deedes Warry, 2 Nov. 1886. Further transfers of mortgage took place on 13 Aug. 1887, and 11 Oct. 1895.
