My wife Susanna my Freehold houses in Sidmouth & all goods chattels effects whatsoever for her natural life & after her death or marriage to my 5 children & Emily Davis (provided she is not in arrears of rent to me, if so her portion to be kept back until rent is paid) share & share alike as tenants in common. After death of Emily Davis, her portion to descend to her children - James Skinner by her 1st marriage, & Elizabeth Richard & Arthur by her 2nd marr & their heirs for ever.
Property is subject to mortgage - wife to pay interest.
To my brother James Carslake a Common Prayer Book that was formerly my Father’s.
